This is the superb and most sort oem Defender back door which is made from a a single pressing frame as opposed to the earlier type of door which is made from multiple welded sections.
These are fitted to all 2006 onwards defenders as standard and benefit from being made from fully galvanised steel including the door skin so you never have to worry about corrosion problems again.
This can be retrofitted to earlier models with some minor modification. The main difference is that the door card when fitted has a slightly different cut out than the earlier models as the internal frame has a slightly different side profile. So the later type of door card is required or if you use your old door card a spacer panel made to fill any gaps.
